| Customer Reviews: iPAQ Overheats August 23, 2010 Joseph Scordato (Rockton, IL USA) iPAQ overheats at random times, automatically discharging the battery. I've exchanged this three times. Same thing happens, even without installing programs not already included on the device. HP says this issue was resolved in previous versions. It wasn't.
Good PDA April 26, 2009 Mr. Francis C. Andersen 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Purchase the HP Ipaq 2700 for $249 about a month ago. I was going to upgrade my phone but my renewal date was a year away and a comparable phone was going to cost me in excess of $500. I have no complaints with the hardware. The Windows 5 mobile software could be better (i.e., better internet, better games, etc.) but is quite adequate for my needs. I make extensive use of MS Outlook, especially the calendar.
Is this an alternative to the iphone? Of course not, it's an older technology. It's a PDA and a very good.
GREAT!! September 7, 2007 C. Knight (statesville, nc United States) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
My first pda but so far I find this one easy to use and foolproof. Instant wifi and fast surfing...a little different if you never used a pda for surfing..but better than any cell phone I have used.
